For the last two years, Sabrina has worked with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) on the Institute's Libya and Syria portfolios, with much of her time spent on civil society strengthening programs. Prior to joining NDI, she worked in child advocacy in Florida, conducting public policy research focused on the commercial sexual exploitation of children, juvenile justice and child welfare, with an emphasis on the movement of girls and LGBTI+ youth through these systems. Sabrina received her M.A in Security Policy Studies with a focus in Conflict Resolution from the George Washington University. She is currently based in Brooklyn and enjoys playing the guitar and writing.
